August is here! Not that you would know it if you looked out of the window today. Regardless, it is one of the two months of the year that I reserve for myself and my family - the other being December.
I have been so fortunate in the last year to have met so many amazing people and been given so many opportunities as a result. Something that has occurred to me throughout this time and continues to niggle me...Do psychics provide a worthy service if they are just constantly addressing the same problem? What I am trying to say is, should a psychic allow themselves to be used as a support system for folk who will not take life lessons on board?
Having done this work for some time now I am very aware that love and relationships are at the top of the list in terms of 'what do you ask a psychic'. Love makes us tick; being wanted and fulfilled is all part of the journey. Making the right choices and learning to live by our mistakes is also something that can also make us whole.
Surprisingly then folk resort too readily to the services of a clairvoyant in order that they can avoid making their own decisions or take responsibility for the outcome of situations. As a psychic I find this both disturbing and annoying. I do not want to tell my clients what to do, I want to show them the options or path ways that lie ahead and then step back and allow them to make their choices.
With all of that in mind, whilst I enjoy my summer break I am giving serious consideration to the way I see my work panning out for the future.
Perhaps I need to be more discerning about the types of readings that I am prepared to take on and put out there to the Universe that I am only prepared to help those who help themselves.
Enjoy the rest of your summer...
